Founded in Phoenix in 2008, True Food Kitchen is the only chef-driven restaurant rooted in rigorous nutritional standards, ensuring all of its craveable dishes and drinks work to increase the longevity of people and the planet. The restaurant’s team of culinary experts transform wholesome, intentionally-sourced ingredients into flavorful comfort foods designed to make guests feel better with every bite. Over the past 15 years, True Food Kitchen has expanded to 43 full-service restaurant locations across 17 states.

“At True Food Kitchen, we are committed to helping people eat better, feel better, and live better,” the brand’s newly appointed CEO, John Williams, says. “By bringing our first takeout-only location to Tempe, we’re making it easier and quicker than ever for more people to eat and drink well. As we continue to grow, we are excited to debut this new, smaller format intended to help us expand into even more neighborhoods across the country.”

The menu is based on renowned doctor of integrative medicine and True Food Kitchen’s founder Dr. Andrew Weil’s food pyramid. Guests can expect a variety of hand-crafted dishes and refreshing beverages made with high-quality, nutrient-dense ingredients that make eating well effortless, energizing and, most importantly, full of flavor.

Among the curated selection of flavorful, health-driven starters, salads, sandwiches, and bowls, guests familiar with the restaurant’s menu will recognize several of the brand’s classic dishes. They’ll also find offerings exclusive to True Food To Go, including flatbreads, build-your-own protein plates, and a selection of breakfast items available all day. Additionally, several slushies will be offered uniquely at this location, with the option to spike each one; these alcoholic beverages, in addition to beer and wine, will be available for takeout and delivery.

The space will feature a walk-up counter, self-checkout, and shelves for easy pickup of online orders. It will also offer indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a grass area for picnicking. The modern yet inviting design emphasizes convenience for those stopping by, as well as comfort for those who wish to enjoy their meal onsite.

True Food To Go will open at 950 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe. For more information, visit www.truefoodkitchen.com.
