Liv URBN has broken ground on Contour on Campbell Ave., a collection of 111 luxury urban condominiums in the heart of the Campbell Avenue, a neighborhood in Phoenix, which spans the Camelback and Indian School business corridors.

“Contour on Campbell Ave. suits homebuyers with a luxury urban sensibility. With the start of construction, we’re pleased to be closer to bringing refined urban living to this vibrant, character-rich Phoenix neighborhood,” said Scott Fisher, principal of Liv URBN, the developer of Contour on Campbell Ave.

Contour on Campbell Ave., located at 2300 E. Campbell Ave., represents a new typology in condominium communities, with amenities catering to the homebuyer seeking an urban lifestyle replete with authenticity, quality materials, artful design and connection to the greater community.

Intrinsic to the name ‘Contour’ is the idea of living within the natural lines of a place. Liv URBN and design partners Gould Evans Associates had locale-centric design and neighborhood integration at the fore of their decision making on this project, influencing how the structures are sited on the property, what materials are employed in construction and finishes, and the treatment of amenities.

“Liv URBN selects properties where our projects will fit seamlessly into, and enhance, amazing neighborhoods,” said Chris Murdy, director of development services for Liv URBN. “Campbell Ave. has this cool, quintessentially Phoenix history that we’ve honored in the design of Contour, and that we hope to help reignite.”

Contour on Campbell Ave. includes one- and two- condominiums, ranging in size from 1,000 to 1,700 square feet.  Pre-opening prices start in the mid-$300’s and are expected to increase soon due to early demand.

The community is proximate to a growing array of new and local favorite restaurants, neighborhood hangouts, shopping and entertainment. For the active resident, there is a network of urban biking and hiking trails accessible nearby. Freeway access and proximity to downtown and major business districts puts Contour residents at a centrally convenient location in Phoenix’s uptown urban core.

Contour on Campbell Ave. showcases the leading edge of luxury in the condominium market. Spacious flex spaces allow homeowners to customize their interior spaces. The latest in top tier smart home technology will provide energy savings and convenience, allowing residents to adjust the thermostat, lights and security features from their smartphones. Expansive windows will keep homes awash in natural light, while site-responsive shading will control heat and glare from the desert sun. Stainless steel Bosch appliances will be standard in Contour’s kitchens and European cabinetry will be offered.

Contour is a study in the beautiful use of materials. Post-tension concrete, punched metal, custom glasswork, and solid wood decking arrayed in tight formation will accentuate Contour’s sleek lines. Breezeways and common spaces are designed to afford interaction among neighbors.

Common areas can be a place for home office workers to meet with clients without having to leave home, or for neighbors to visit. The community pool, outdoor cooking and shared spaces will be gathering areas for neighbors, with design and landscaping features and the artful use of light and shadow enhancing the outdoor aesthetic. State-of-the-art workout facilities are available any time of day or night.

Residents will have secure underground parking with options for electric car charging parking stalls, as well as bicycle storage and additional resident storage.

Construction is expected to be complete by late 2017. Sales are underway, and are being handled by LAUNCH Real Estate.
