To support Put on Purple day for Lupus Awareness Month, Caretaker Landscape and Tree Management turned purple today.
Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that can affect various parts of the body, especially the skin, joints, blood, and kidneys.
One of Caretaker Landscape’s employees, Michelle Izquierdo, was diagnosed with Lupus earlier this year.
The great news is that she caught it early and is being treated, but still has a long road ahead. Also, the sister of Executive Vice President, Todd Schneider, Robyn Bayer, has Lupus, too.
Lupus is a disease which remains under-recognized and under-appreciated.
Michelle, Robyn and Caretaker Landscape are honored to show their love and support by helping to increase awareness of Lupus in support of more than 5 million people living with Lupus.
Join Caretaker Landscape and Tree Management in honor of Put on Purple Day to educate others and help raise awareness of Lupus.
