Scottsdale-based MPC Development LLC purchased 802 partially improved lots in Buckeye for $18,000,000, according to Land Advisors Organization, the listing brokerage firm on the deal.
Tempe-based Lennar Communities Development Inc. sold the land, which is located within the Blue Horizon Estates community at the southwest corner of Jackrabbit Trail and Van Buren Street in Buckeye.
The team of Greg Vogel, Bret Rinehart and Ryan Semro at Land Advisors Organization brokered the $18,000,000 deal.
The purchased lots include 10 parcels and 206 acres of the 564-acre Blue Horizons Estates. The parcels, ranging from 23 lots to 133 lots, will be sold to multiple home builders. Land Advisors Organization has the marketing assignment moving forward.
There are 20 parcels at the Blue Horizons Estates community. Both Lennar Arizona Inc. and CalAtlantic Homes of Arizona Inc. have active subdivisions under development and built neighborhoods within the mixed-use project.
The community is filled with parks, athletic fields and courts in place and there is land planned for commercial use as well as sites for a school and a fire station.
