The 115,000 square foot ground-up, build-to-suit project was completed in eleven months. It is the 32nd construction project, and the largest facility to date, between the Chapman Automotive Group and Agate Construction.
The facility has been designed and constructed to support the needs of large, modern, commercial vehicles. With forty-eight large service bays, the company can service most vehicles, including Ford and non-Ford makes and models ranging from Class 1-7, including top-of-the-line electric vehicles, emphasizing Ford’s commitment to green technology and sustainability. The state-of-the-art facility will also offer rapid turnaround, extended hours, a six-day operational schedule, ASE-Certified Master Mechanics and technicians, and mobile service options to minimize downtime for local businesses.
“This is our thirty-second construction project with the Chapman Automotive Group and they continue to raise the bar when it comes to their showrooms and state-of-the-art service centers. We are honored to be involved in the design, permitting, construction and commissioning of their facilities throughout Arizona and Nevada,” said Lou Primak, principal and COO at Agate Construction. “This Ford Pro Elite facility is a game changer for local businesses with commercial fleets. This is the future of automotive service, and Agate Construction is proud to once again, build the vision of the Chapmans and Ford.”
“We know how important it is to Arizona businesses to keep their vehicle fleets up and running, and Chapman Ford Pro Elite is specifically designed with those folks in mind,” added Steve Countryman, General Manager of Chapman Ford. “Our new service center can service nearly any vehicle, and we offer large service bays, extended hours six days a week, superior training and equipment, and even mobile service options. We’re here to support those businesses that keep our community running.”
Agate Construction served as the construction manager at risk, Barry R Barcus Architects designed the facility, and Kimley-Horn served as civil engineer.
