SVN Desert Commercial Advisors is a full-service commercial brokerage firm that specializes in a wide variety of landlord and tenant representation, development, redevelopment, land opportunities and more. SVN is a boutique brokerage located in Phoenix, AZ with less than 25 brokers but by no means does this mean small business. In fact, SVN Desert Commercial finalized another record-breaking year in 2019, up 29% from 2018’s numbers.
Managing Partner Perry Laufenberg stated, “Creating and executing each our individual plans and staying accountable on an individual level to reaching those goals is what creates the momentum for record-breaking years to occur.” The DCA Phoenix office made the TOP 10 brokerages by SVN International Corp. every single month of 2019. Several of the advisors of the top-ranking Arizona brokerage were also recognized for being named to the TOP 100 advisors within the entire SVN network across the country. “We have established our Phoenix brand that people recognize all over the country. Without PR, news highlights, social media branding, or digital media, we would be just another unseen small boutique. Marketing matters.,” said Director of Marketing, PR & Administration Melissa Swader. “Sharing CRE news helps other brokers, investors and developers learn more about us and what we are capable of.”
SVN Desert Commercial Advisors had a few nationally recognized sales in 2019 that made headlines for continual months. The year started off with a grand slam with the sale of 8th Ave Shops in January by Director of Retail Leasing & Sales Investments, Rommie Mojahed and his retail team. The shopping center sold for $6.9M in Mesa. Throughout the year, Mojahed and his retail team closed a few other sales totaling $22M. Additionally, the sale of the O’Neil Printing building for $9.23M in the central Phoenix corridor was a highlight for SVN. Senior advisors, Justin Horwitz and Paul Borgesen III represented the buyers in the transaction. They also played an integral role in representing an investor in their purchase acquisitions in the downtown Phoenix, Roosevelt Row District. SVN’s Laufenberg stated, “2019 was the culmination of years of hard work refining skills and processes to provide consistently great service to all of our clients.” More importantly, working with long-term clients has also been another instrumental factor in their success. Director of Retail, Mary Nollenberger has worked with several clients as well, closing sales for buyers and sellers and fully leasing up shopping centers to put on the market. Inevitably, SVN has the expertise in many areas to accommodate all types for their clients.
Laufenberg and Managing Director Mike Gallegos have developed an on-boarding training program that sets any new advisors up for success. With a solid sales training program in place coupled with a well-oil successful marketing platform, the SVN brokerage has everything in place to reach their goals. Historically proven, all the advisors have been subjected to the training, tools and techniques that continue to be a catalyst in the record-breaking success of the office year after year.
