Sherry Engle, a Phoenix-based interior designer and founder of s.e. design Inc., announces plans to expand and rebrand her full-service design firm. On Thursday, June 21, Engle’s s.e. design Inc. will fade into the summer solstice sunset and Reverie West will rise. Under the company’s new name and brand identity, Engle and her team will be growing its portfolio of commercial design projects and adding in-house product development.
Engle opened the doors to s.e. design Inc. in 2001, and since that time has designed the interiors of several, notable multi-housing complexes, restaurants, corporate offices and club houses in Arizona, California and Nevada, along with a variety of luxury residential homes. Under Reverie West, Engle will expand her scope of commercial services to include boutique hotel design and develop products related to home furnishings and accessories.
“My team and I are focused on creating impactful experiences that tell rich stories and speak to unique destinations and architecture,” says Engle.
“Under Reverie West,” Engle explains, “we will continue to provide individualized and specialized design solutions. The decision to evolve is about taking design to that next level and growing what we do and what we create.”
Most recently, Engle and her team innovated the historic property, The Orchard, in Central Phoenix. The project entailed transforming two historic homes on a former citrus orchard into Luci’s Marketplace and the Pomelo Restaurant. The property includes an extensive outdoor patio and garden area along with an old-fashioned ice cream shop. She also designed the look of the popular breakfast restaurant, Morning Squeeze in Tempe.
Engle began her career working for an architecture firm as a draftsperson and later as an estimator for a construction company. In 1993 she followed her passion for interior design to Arizona State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in design and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
The company is located in North Central Phoenix at 8801 N. Central, Suite 100. To learn more about Reverie West and its portfolio of projects visit reveriewest.com or @reveriewest on Instagram.
