Construction begins next week on en Hance Park, a 59,000-square-foot condominium project in downtown Phoenix slated for completion in June 2016. Developed by Sencorp, a Chilean-based developer with housing projects worldwide, en Hance Park is one of the first new condo developments Phoenix has seen in several years. Located at 1130 N. 2nd Street, the complex is a dynamic urban-infill development focused on thoughtful living for the live/work lifestyle of Downtown professionals.

The space combines efficiency, connectivity and character with units ranging in square footage from 400 to 1,700, and selling prices starting at $150,000. Located across from the expansive 32-acre historic Margaret T. Hance Park, and adjacent to the nationally-renowned Roosevelt Row arts district, en Hance Park provides easy access to area amenities including dining, entertainment, museums, local venues and freeways.

“This type of project is unprecedented in the Phoenix area, and given the steady market pick-up, there is no better time for new condo development,” said Alvaro Sande, chief operating officer with Sencorp. “en Hance Park is significant because it represents an opportunity for individuals to experience efficient, thoughtful living spaces at an affordable price, not currently offered in the downtown area.”

The building will consist of 49 units, including flats and lofts, with various floor plans ranging from studio to three bedrooms. The units are designed with high ceilings, European-style cabinetry and quartz countertops. Other features include: walk-in closets, modern finishes, modern appliances, and unmatched views. The site will include outdoor community spaces, a BBQ and fire pit area, a pool and sun deck, outdoor seating, desert landscaping and covered parking.

“We have an excellent project team dedicated to unique methods of collaboration that have allowed us to deliver a much-needed project, in an ideal location, that is truly an urban oasis,” said Sande.

Project team members include Shepley Bulfinch, architect; DCK Worldwide, general contractor; Roberta Candaleria, real estate broker; formeTHIRD, project management; Headwerk, brand development.
