Construction is moving forward for the new Papago Plaza, a planned urban mixed-use lifestyle community at the southwest corner of Scottsdale and McDowell Roads.
Final grading is being done on site for the installation of electrical lines, water pipes and sewer lines.
The Papago Plaza project serves as a catalyst for the redevelopment of the South Scottsdale Corridor, representing Scottdale’s new urban gateway. Upon completion, Papago Plaza will feature a community gathering place for entertainment, dining and retail including specialty restaurants, a grocer, and Alliance Residential luxury apartment homes, designed in an orchard-like setting.
Real estate veteran, Lee Mashburn, president of Pivot Development of Scottsdale, is developing the new Papago Plaza and architect is Nelsen Partners of Scottsdale. Orion Investment Real Estate is handling the retail leasing for Papago Plaza.
