Diversified Partners, the leading Scottsdale real estate brokerage and development company, announced the groundbreaking for its expansive Eastgate Plaza, a 17-acre mixed-use development at the northeast corner of Elliot and Ellsworth Roads in Mesa, Ariz. The groundbreaking ceremony, held on Jan. 31, garnered significant attention, drawing a diverse audience that included The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development Project Manager, Bryan Smith, Mesa Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Sally Harrison, additional City of Mesa staff, Eastgate Plaza tenants, neighbors, media members and more.

Located north of the Eastmark master-planned community and near the growing Mesa Tech Corridor, already home to industry giants like Apple, Google, Edgecore, Niagara Bottling and Dignity Health, the new Eastgate Plaza promises to be a dynamic mixed-use space catering to residents, professionals and visitors in the area. Confirmed tenants, include a new drive-thru Starbucks, d’Lite Healthy On The Go, Pure Barre fitness studio, Fit FX group fitness gym, Fresh Monkee handcrafted protein shakes, Playa Bowls, Kolache Café, Southern California-based fast casual concept, Farmer Boys, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Vero Chicago Pizza, Swig soda shop, Euphoria Nail Salon, Mecham Orthodontics, MB2 Dental, Andi’s Hair Salon and Barbershop AVEDA, Discount Tire and a UPS Store.
Adding flavor to the groundbreaking event, Senior Taco, another confirmed tenant, showcased its new food truck concept and treated groundbreaking attendees to complimentary tacos, quesadillas and more—all presented with a custom Diversified Partners menu.

Amidst the flourishing development, a standout feature is the planned Cambria Hotel. Spanning approximately 91,911 square feet across 2.11 acres, the four-story hotel will encompass 107 rooms and redefine hospitality in Mesa.
Designed with Cambria’s new prototypical plans, the hotel will include additional amenities such as a 500-square-foot rooftop bar and kitchen, tailored to accommodate banquets, receptions and other private events while providing panoramic views of the Superstition Mountains. The first-floor restaurant and lounge will also extend to a spacious outdoor seating and dining area, complemented by a large outdoor pool with a sundeck and fireplace. The hotel is expected to open on September 1, 2025.

The site is owned by Elliot & Ellsworth Investment Properties LLC — an entity led by Brown Jr. Canyon Building & Design is the construction management group overseeing the buildout while RKAA Architects is the architect of the project. EPS Group is the civil engineer.
