Two Phoenix apartment complexes near Washington and 12th Streets will have a public grand opening on Feb. 25. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton will commemorate the grand opening of Capital Place, a $57 million 292-unit apartment complex.
The open house event will showcase the new project and highlight downtown living. In partnership with neighboring businesses, the evening will include hors d’oeuvres and signature martinis from new local lounge Dirty Martini and a dessert and tea station from Greater Than Coffee, along with live musical entertainment and participation from other community partners.
Capital Place representatives will be on hand throughout the evening to take guests on guided tours of the property and its amenities, including a furnished model home.

The complex consists of two buildings, 11 Capital Place is located at 1012 E. Washington St. and 12 Capital Place is located at 11 S. 12th St. In addition to offering walkability to a number of local restaurants and businesses, both properties are conveniently located near the 12th St. light rail stations and a Grid Bike station.
Capital place offers studio, one, two and three-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 615 to 1,324 square feet, each residence features high-end finishes including granite countertops, wood plank flooring, custom designer cabinets, large windows and stainless steel appliances.
Units have nine-foot ceilings, master bedroom walk-in closets in two and three bedroom residences and covered balconies in every home.
Capital Place has 24-hour clubhouses and fitness centers, a game and media room, a resort-style pool with private cabanas, lushly landscaped courtyards, an outdoor fireplace with seating, picnic areas with BBQ grills and a coffee bar and café.
