The Ak-Chin Indian Community unveiled the new Elements Event Center at Ak-Chin Circle at the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
This new conference and event center is equipped to host groups from 25-300 people with 11,000-square-feet of indoor and outdoor event space. The versatile center is the perfect host for any event including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, conferences and galas.
“The Ak-Chin Indian Community is proud to extend our hospitality and event services offerings with the addition of the new Elements Event Center,” said Chairman Louis Manuel Jr.. “This is a perfect complement to the other meetings options available at Ultra-Star Multi-Tainment Center, Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino and Southern Dunes Golf Club.”
The space, originally designed for retail, was converted into meeting space when the Community saw the need for additional space. The Ak-Chin Indian Community and the team from UltraStar worked with architectural firm Nelson Partners and contractor Kitchell on the project.
The four banquet rooms are each named for one of the elements earth, air, fire and water, representing a well-rounded agricultural community as The Ak-Chin Indian Community. The catering professionals create the ultimate dining experience for every event including food selection from the extensive menu, as well as customizing the menu for each event’s needs.
“Adding elements, as the premier event space at Ak Chin Circle, will help the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center maximize the guest experience, while increasing visitors to the Ak-Chin Indian Community,” said Alan Grossberg, CEO of UltraStar. “Now we have the necessary space to accommodate a wide variety of events.”
