Evergreen Development acquired 1.12 acres of land adjacent to the new Fry’s Marketplace development at 25355 N. Lake Pleasant Pkwy., on the northeast corner of Happy Valley Road and North Lake Pleasant Parkway in Peoria.
Evergreen plans to break ground on the planned 7,550-square-foot multi-tenant building this month.
The Shops at Lake Pleasant are already 70 percent leased. Future tenants include Tender Dental, Delia’s Cleaners, Sprint and Herbal Nails.
“This property is incredibly well-located and is in a high-traffic retail zone, with several high-quality stores, restaurants and amenities in the area, including the impressive new Fry’s Marketplace store,” said Laura Ortiz, managing principal of Evergreen Development. “We’re very excited to begin building out this parcel and bringing additional retailers and services into the center’s mix.”
Evergreen anticipates that the building will be complete and spaces delivered to the tenants by the end of October 2016, with the first tenants expected to open their doors to the public in January 2017.
Phoenix-based Vertical Design Studios is the architect for the buildings, while Evergreen has selected Phoenix-based GCON, Inc. as the general contractor for the project.
