Arizona-based food+juice restaurant, Grabbagreen® has a great start on leading the charge in healthy fast food industry. They have awarded their second multi-unit franchise to Patricia Logan from Strong & Healthy, LLC. The agreement is for a three-store development deal in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area and is the second franchise awarded since Grabbagreen launched their franchise opportunity at the end of April. The restaurant chain added Dallas to their location roster, and three franchisee stores in addition to the three company owned stores in Arizona.
Founded in 2012, Grabbagreen is the first fast food concept of its kind serving organic food items, antibiotic and hormone-free beef, poultry and fresh-pressed juice in the country. Founders Keely Newman and Kelley Bird found out very quickly they were not alone in the search of healthy food on the go after opening their first location in 2013. “It was clear very early on there was an unmet demand in the marketplace for the same healthy choices we fed our own families at home.” says Keely Newman, CEO & Founder, “which fueled growing the concept to three stores in less than two years.”
“This is an exciting time for Grabbagreen’s franchise expansion,” states Kim Cramton, VP of Operations and Franchise Development. Cramton herself has over 25 years of experience in opening over 1,200 franchises for a national brand, “Oftentimes, one of the biggest challenges is finding qualifying and driven franchisees. Logan said she was attracted to Grabbagreen for a number of reasons, including providing extremely healthy eating options on the go. “People are starting to grasp how much diet effects everything and living in such a fast-paced lifestyle, providing more options for those in search of that is a necessity,” she said. Strong & Healthy, LLC will be focusing on North Scottsdale, Phoenix and the Chandler area for the three locations, and has already began their search for the perfect space.
