Hines, the international real estate firm, recently promoted Steve Hamel to General Property Manager and hired Lindy Mertins as Property Manager. Both positions are located at Renaissance Square.
Hamel oversees a staff of 18 at Renaissance Square. He previously served as Property Manager of Renaissance Square. Through his leadership, Hamel has improved tenant satisfaction, accounting performance and building staffing. He serves as Hines’ Social and Community Outreach Committee Chair, organizing philanthropic events for Florence Crittenton and an annual toy drive. Prior to joining Hines, Hamel had a successful 10-year career in the REIT sector. Hamel graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Mertins brings 11 years of commercial real estate experience to Hines, including managing high rises in the Valley. She will collaborate with the City of Phoenix, Downtown Phoenix Partnership and GPEC to elevate Renaissance Square’s profile in the community. She previously served as a Property Manager for Cushman & Wakefield. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Nebraska and an Arizona real estate license in 1998.
