LGE Design Build has completed construction on Chandler Airpark, a nearly 97,000 square-foot, six building commercial development, bringing countless new jobs to the East Valley.

Construction on the large-scale project located on Douglas Drive (just west of Stearman Drive) in Chandler wrapped in May with developer Silagi Development of Thousand Oaks, California. Three of the single-tenant spaces have been filled with the remaining three, varying in size from 11,000 to 22,000 SF, available to lease or buy. It’s a first-of-its-kind development in the East Valley, as others in close proximity are either multi-tenant properties, or those that offer flex or office space.

“Simply stated, there’s nothing else like it anywhere in the vicinity,” said Silagi Development’s Moshe Silagi, who took a gamble on the space after sensing the growing demand in the area. “Tenants can lease one of the three still-available, free-standing structures strewn across six acres of land, or they can purchase the space, too, which has become an increasingly wise investment in recent years due to exceedingly low interest rates.”

The six structures were constructed by LGE Design Build, which served as the general contractor for Chandler Airpark. Silagi chose to rely on LGE after keeping an eye on the firm’s numerous other projects across the Valley, noting the company’s track record, strong management team and constant professionalism.

“Everyone from the ownership to management to support staff was very positive,” Silagi said, of his experience with LGE. “They finished the project within budget, if not below, and ahead of schedule.”

LGE Design Build President and CEO David Sellers noted his company’s eagerness to assist with a project of this scale in an area underserved in terms of single-tenant properties. “Chandler Airpark is going to change the landscape of the East Valley,” Sellers said. “In addition to being a boom for the local economy, it will give residents opportunities for employment that are a lot closer to home, and we’re happy to have played a role in that.”
