McGough Construction has announced the addition of several senior team members to support and drive recent growth of its Phoenix office and Southwest Regional hub.
Oscar Salazar has joined the McGough Southwest team as Director of Preconstruction Services. With 20 years of experience, Oscar has a proven ability to control costs and perform detailed value analysis. He will work with clients as an interactive partner during all project phases offering expertise with design issues while continuing to advocate for the owner in helping control the design to meet project budget and scope. Oscar has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad of Sonora and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Shawn O’Rourke, LEED AP has joined the McGough Southwest team as Superintendent. He brings 13 years of experience working with higher education, healthcare and municipal clients on a variety of project types. Shawn is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Technology from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University.
Cullen Flake, LEED AP has joined the McGough Southwest team as an Estimator and Project Manager. He is a LEED Accredited professional with more than a decade of experience with a variety of project types. These include healthcare, transportation, education facilities and parking garages. Cullen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Housing & Urban Development from Arizona State University.
Karl Blondin has joined the McGough Southwest team as an MEP Superintendent. For the past 15 years, Karl has worked as a member of the Mechanical Subcontractor team and brings this experience to McGough to provide MEP expertise for our long-term clients.
