Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke was joined by Frankel Family Trust chief operating officer Michael Kron, Foursite construction manager Nicklas J.E. Roe, Chasse Building Team president Barry Chasse, Chandler Chamber of Commerce president Terri Kimble and other Arizona civic and business leaders at a VIP reception to celebrate the ribbon cutting of SKY at Chandler Airpark. The 779,337-square-foot property, which is located at 1441 E. Germann Road in Chandler, features 11 buildings and 504 total apartment homes, ranging from 562-824-square-foot one-bedroom units to 1,098-1,186-square-foot two-bedroom units to 1,345-1,385-square-foot three-bedroom units.
“Frankel Family Trust is so proud of this project and to be helping create homes in this up-and-coming East Valley community,” said Kron, who also successfully completed Southern Avenue Villas in 2016. “Each of these homes features an attractive layout and designer finishes like high ceilings, LED lighting, and brushed nickel fixtures.”
According to Kron, additional apartment highlights include:
• Granite countertops
• Stainless steel appliances
• Plank flooring
• Gooseneck faucets with sprayers
• Custom cabinetry
• Walk-in closets
• Private balcony or patio
Beyond the homes themselves, the property boasts an impressive array of amenities for residents, including: two Pools and Spas with private cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, virtual on-demand yoga, Pilates and spin programs, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, a dog park and pet washing station and entertainment gazebos throughout.
The $64 million complex broke ground in November 2018. To date, the luxury apartments are already 75% occupied. CHASSE Building Team served as the general contractor, Whitneybell Perry served as the architect and Foursite served as construction project managers on the project.
“It is both very exciting and highly rewarding to be a part of a trend-setting development like Sky at Chandler Airpark which is already being viewed by the industry as a first-in-class asset with an award-winning appeal to the market,” said Roe.
