NAI Horizon announced that Michael Gaida has joined the company as an associate to help grow and maintain business brokerage initiatives.
His primary areas of responsibility will be business brokerage and retail and industrial leasing and brokerage. Past businesses sold have been in the industrial, manufacturing, commercial development, restaurant and services industries. Gaida represents sellers whose businesses are between $250,000 and $10 million in gross sales.
Gaida previously was at SVN Desert Commercial, where his duties included business brokerage, industrial and retail leasing. He has 14 years of experience in business brokerage in Arizona and has been practicing commercial real estate since 2008.

A native of St. Cloud, Minn., Gaida has lived in the Valley since 1969. He attended Brophy College Prep and Ottawa University, where he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in business and psychology.
He moved to back to Minnesota after college where he spent 10 years as a recruiter for the high tech industry. In 2000 Gaida moved to New York City and joined an executive search firm specializing in venture capital and private equity portfolio management searches.
Gaida is active in industry groups including Valley Partnership, NAIOP Arizona and ULI Arizona.
