Scottsdale-based Plexus Worldwide, a direct-marketing weight-loss and health-supplement seller, is moving into a new 70,000 square-foot headquarters near by its warehouse and fullfillment center, creating its own campus.
Combined with Plexus’ 30,000 square-foot warehouse, the new headquarters creates a 100,000 square-foot combined campus.
The campus is in the Pima Center, a 209-acre mixed-use business park designed and developed by Mainspring Capital Group. It is located near Pima Road and East Via de Ventura in Scottsdale.
The new campus brings together the company’s 200 plus employees who previously worked at several facilities located in and around the Scottsdale Airpark.
The move was necessary as Plexus Worldwide outgrew its facilities due to recent growth from less than $1 million in annual revenue in 2010 to more than $300 million in 2014.
“Building our new headquarters adjacent to our warehouse facility allowed us to create a functional campus where we can truly get the most out of each building design while increasing the coordination between our talented employee teams which previously worked in various locations around Scottsdale,” said Tarl Robinson, Plexus Worldwide CEO.
Building highlights include oversized breakrooms, lots of casual meeting spaces for staff, a huge multi-media studio, and ample space for growth. The facility also has numerous references to its Ambassadors including bricks engraved with the names of more than 300 of its Jewel level Ambassadors.
Robinson added, “Pima Center and the team at MainSpring Capital allowed us the flexibility to work with our own design build team while providing valuable assistance in working within the local jurisdiction to make this project happen. We looked at a lot of alternatives and the Pima Center/ Mainspring option clearly stood tallest.”
Plexus Worldwide was represented in the transaction by John Lokey of Ross Brown Partners, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the Phoenix Metropolitan area, and the project was designed and built by LGE Design Build of Phoenix.
