Investment Property Associates (IPA), a leading owner-operator of luxury multifamily communities, and Retirement Community Specialists, Inc. (RCS), a leading operator of luxury senior living communities, are unifying under one company name, Liv Communities. Since merging in 2014, RCS and IPA have worked together under the direction of a combined executive team to offer the full range of luxury apartment lifestyle options for all ages and stages of life.
“The decision to operate under one name, Liv Communities, simply reflects how we currently operate with common purpose and values,” explains CEO, Scott Brooks, “We are proud of what Liv stands for – helping people live fuller lives, and creating genuine, village-style communities that deliver uncommonly positive living and work experiences. This is our promise and our passion for all of our residents and team members.”
Under Liv Communities, the company will continue to focus on expanding its two brands — Liv Multifamily and LivGenerations Senior Living.
Liv represents the company’s portfolio of apartment communities designed to include resort style amenities, unique community-focused programs and services, all designed around four key elements: technology, sustainability, wellness and community. The Liv portfolio currently consists of six communities with two located in Michigan (Liv Arbors and Liv Wildwood) and four in Arizona (Liv Ahwatukee, Liv Avenida, Liv Northgate and Liv North Scottsdale) along with two more opening in Arizona in 2018 (Liv Goodyear and Liv North Valley).
LivGenerations represents the company’s senior living communities offering a unique age-in-place model for independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. LivGenerations offers its residents a wide array of amenities and services including extensive social, life-long learning, and wellness opportunities, including fitness centers, pools, movie theaters, tea rooms, wine cellars and multiple award-winning dining venues. The LivGenerations portfolio consists of two senior living communities in Arizona (LivGenerations Agritopia and LivGenerations Ahwatukee) along with a third community opening in 2018 (LivGenerations Pinnacle Peak). The company also operates Springs of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“We are excited to not only continue evolving how we serve our residents within each of our Liv and LivGenerations communities, but more importantly explore ways to bring the two worlds together,” adds Brooks. “True village-style living means bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together in meaningful ways, adding richness to the lives of all.”
Liv Communities plans to continue expanding both brands in their existing markets as well as enter new U.S. markets in the coming years. For more information on the company and its projects visit livcommunities.com.
