The former Bayless Shopping Center in Phoenix, near 19th Avenue and Osborn Road, was sold for $1.74 million to CVP-19th & Osborn LLC by The Ireland Family Trust, according to Commercial Properties Inc./CORFAC International (CPI).
The new owners plan to renovate the 30,000-square-foot shopping center that was built in 1950 and owned by Bayless Investment and Trading Company for many years, said Tom Semancik, CPI’s Investment transaction.
The A.J. Bayless Company was once the largest grocery in Arizona with 45 stores in the valley in 1962, according to the Arizona Historical Society.
CPI represented The Ireland Family Trust in the transaction.
