John McCain, who is running for a sixth term as a United States Senator, is scheduled to speak at Valley Partnership’s October 21 Friday morning breakfast at Phoenix Country Club.

Sen. McCain, R-Ariz., was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona in 1982 and elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986. He was the Republican Party’s nominee for president in the 2008 election. He currently serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services. The senator is running against Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick.

Following Sen. McCain’s talk, the October panel will discuss the modern healthcare system, including developing and redeveloping new and existing healthcare-related projects.

Panelists will be the innovators in healthcare including Dennis Dahlen, Senior Vice President/CFO, Banner Health; Paul Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, Redirect Health; and Dr. John Schufeldt, CEO, MeMD. Julie Johnson with Avison Young will moderate.
