Caliente Construction Inc., Tempe, Ariz., announced today that Amy Shelton has joined the company as business development manager. Shelton brings over 10 years of professional experience interacting with clients in sales and marketing. In her new role, she will be responsible for client relations, and lead the client development and retention efforts for the 80-employee company.
Lorraine Bergman, president/CEO of Caliente Construction made the announcement saying, “Amy is a great addition to our team. She will be an integral part of building on our valued relationships within the industry and participating in growing our firm strategically.”
Shelton is a native of Arizona and attended Arizona State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business and graduated from the University’s College of Law with a Juris Doctorate. She was a student athlete gymnast at ASU and competed at the elite level for 6 years as a member of the US gymnastics team, representing the United States in several international competitions. Shelton is involved with Free2 Play, a movement literacy program which offers free online workout programs devoted to keeping children without access to school physical education programs active and healthy. She continues to support ASU as a member of the ASU Wings of Gold Committee dedicated to funding women’s athletics and is a member of the Arizona Opera Young Professionals Committee.
