Sigma Contracting has announced the recent completion of Phase 1 of an 11,000 SF of new office space for United Drugs, located at 7227 N. 16th Street in central Phoenix.
The tenant improvement of this former law office consisted of the addition of several new offices and conference rooms, new server room, reworking of existing millwork, electrical and data systems, along with luxury vinyl tile flooring and carpet. The interiors were designed by Katz Design Group and feature a contemporary feel with cool color accents throughout. This was a collaborative effort between the owner and Katz Design Group to complete a design build project within a very short time line with a limited budget.
The first phase of the project was completed in seven weeks with partial move-in beginning in just six weeks, to accommodate the need to vacate former office space. Phase II of the project is slated for May 2014, which will add new restroom facilities, more offices, HVAC upgrades, as well as ADA upgrades on the exterior of the building.
