Commercial real estate developer SimonCRE announced the addition of Joe Acker as General Counsel to the thriving SimonCRE team.
Joe Acker has built a reputation as an experienced and knowledgeable commercial real estate and corporate transactional attorney. He brings a myriad of skills to SimonCRE including a broad knowledge of real estate law and a tenacious yet affable negotiation style that is appreciated by all parties in a transaction. Joe has been involved in over two billion dollars worth of real estate transactions over his career.

Prior to joining SimonCRE as in house general counsel, Acker founded his own firm, Acker Law Group. His previous roles include serving as lead counsel for a national shopping center development firm. He also practiced commercial real estate law with Arizona based law firms including Lewis and Roca and Nagle Law Group.
Acker’s vital role at SimonCRE will be performing all facets of commercial real estate law, including review and negotiation of purchase agreements and leases, due diligence for development projects and coordination of pre and post closing issues. He is also experienced in corporate transactions, including the purchase and sale of businesses, facilitation of corporate contracts and the formation of corporations and limited liability companies.
SimonCRE currently has fifty development projects in the pipeline valued at $100 Million, creating thousands of jobs around the country. The total transaction value will surpass $140 Million in 2015. The SimonCRE team has grown from three employees to fourteen in just the last year. Acker will be instrumental in the legal due diligence of our continued projects and successes.
