The owners of Courtesy Chevrolet will be opening up a Courtesy Volvo dealership at the $60 million auto mall, Scottsdale AutoShow at Salt River.
The new dealership will include a sales and service facility, and is currently in escrow. The auto mall where the new Volvo dealership will reside is set to be completed in January 2017.
There are currently two Volvo dealerships in the Phoenix Metropolitan area; one in Tempe and one in Phoenix.
The Scottsdale AutoShow at Salt River will cover nearly 70 acres on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, east of Scottsdale and along the western border off the 101 Pima Freeway. This is the first master planned auto park in the last six years to be built in the United States and the first master planned auto park on tribal land.
In addition to Courtesy Volvo, the Chapman Automotive Group will relocate their Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Volkswagen and Hyundai dealerships from along the McDowell Road corridor to the new auto park.
“The Gruwell Family and the Courtesy name are synonymous with high quality customer service in the realm of automobile sales,” said Mullin360 President Jim Mullin. “They’ve helped customers for over 60 years and have a sterling reputation. Along with Chapman Automotive Group, we’re already at over 50% commitment before construction has begun. Courtesy Volvo will have a tremendous impact on the growth of the AutoShow at Salt River.”
“It’s an honor to work with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in order to develop a project of this magnitude,” Mullin said. “We’ve made a lot of progress in a short amount of time and we all look forward to the creation of a one-of-a-kind sales facility.”
