Wespac Construction Inc. recently completed the second location of Provision, a unique specialty coffee roaster, cocktail bar, and eatery.
Located within the Link office buildings in Uptown Phoenix’s 7th street corridor, the concept of Provision is built on, “a passion and belief in connecting community — and people — through high-quality coffee, food, and drinks. Provision’s second valley location is outfitted with a 700-square-foot kitchen, providing Provision with extended menu options and larger dishes for their growing clientele.
Originally two separate office buildings constructed in the late 1970s, Wespac also recently built the 3-story glass-enclosed atrium lobby connection, to ‘Link’ the two buildings together, creating a complete transformational rehabilitation and reconfiguration of the prior space. Along with the new Provision location featured, the atrium will serve as a common amenity area for tenants in the newly renovated adjacent office buildings.
Unique elements of this 3,986 SF, multi-story eatery include a 3-story floor-to-ceiling glass atrium and natural wood finishes. Passionate about incorporating local artwork into the space, a mural was erected on both the east and west walls of the original brick buildings that are now the interior walls of the atrium. Local mural artist Lucinda of La Morena Art [https://lamorenaart.com/home-1] enhanced the restaurant’s creative environment with her largest mural to date.
The Provision team introduced Glasstender Bar Die structure units, which use chaseways built into the structure to conceal all soda, beer, electrical, and plumbing lines. “The Glasstender die wall is the best die wall system that I have used,” says Wespac Project Manager, Steven Crofoot. “These modular walls allow access to those usually permanently enclosed areas, while the stainless-steel shroud doubles as an easy-to-clean surface and sophisticated industrial addition.”
With three floors of open space, a larger and more efficient kitchen, full-service patio, and full cocktail bar with 12 taps, Provision will be the ideal Uptown Phoenix destination to relax, work, or socialize.
Situated at the corner of 7th Street & Missouri, this newly revived neighborhood has become one of Phoenix’s premier destinations. Provision will join the eclectic mix of bistros, pizzerias, bars, and restaurants bolstering the burgeoning culinary scene, while the convenient access to high-end retail, fine dining, and renowned resorts are all a short drive away.
