Sierra Tucson, an internationally renowned leader in behavioral and mental health care, is expanding its campus with a 30,895-square-foot new Behavioral Health Inpatient Lodge, adding 44 licensed beds, integrative therapy rooms, a new pharmacy center, expanded facilities for individualized treatment and a dedicated admission center.

Designed to enhance the overall treatment experience for residents, the $16.5 million expansion will be underway with a groundbreaking event at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4.

“Sierra Tucson has experienced phenomenal growth since its opening, and we’re delighted to provide this important addition to the Tucson community,” said Jaime Vinck, MC, LPC, NCC, CEIP, chief executive officer of Sierra Tucson.

The Pueblo Revival-designed campus is nestled in the foothills of Tucson on 160 acres. With spectacular views of the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains and the serene natural desert backdrop, Sierra Tucson provides an ideal natural healing environment in which to pursue a healthy, productive and promising future.

“Since 1983, our renowned programs and team of dedicated medical experts have resulted in positive change in the lives of more than 34,000 residents and 90,000 family members,” said Vinck. “We are proud to be able to respond to the demand for more beds and services as we continue to provide a journey of recovery and healing for individuals and their loved ones.”
