Love is in the air in the Valley this weekend so here are five festive events for couples and singles alike.

  1. Crush Arizona Music Festival

This EDM concert at Rawhide in Chandler features headliners Billy Kenny, Borgeous, Jauz, Keys N Krates, Netsky, Peking Duk, Seven Lions and Wax Motif.

Details: Saturday, Feb. 13 from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Tickets start at $58. 

  1. Cocktail Carnival

Kick off Arizona Cocktail week poolside at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. The Cocktail Carnival will feature mixologists from all over the country who come to showcase their creative cocktails. There will be live performances, attractions and over 25 tables and booths.

Details: Saturday, Feb. 13 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $40 if purchased in advance and $50 at the door. 

  1. City Lights Movie Nights

This Friday, downtown Phoenix’s monthly outdoor movie series will feature the romantic classics “The Notebook” and “When Harry Met Sally” at Patriots Park at Cityscape.

  1. Love Me Tinder

Right swipe this stand-up comedy show that pokes fun at romance in the digital age. The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art Lounge will host comics Anthony Desamito, Leslie Barton, Michael Paul Kohn, Genevieve Rice, Steve Maxwell and Pauly Casillas.

Details: Friday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 or $8 for members. 

  1. Amazing Arizona Comic Convention

For those hoping to eschew the cliché cards, flowers and romance of Valentine’s Day, the Arizona Comic Con provides a weekend of super heroes, costuming and even a screening of the newest Marvel movie “Deadpool” with creator Rob Liefield.

Details: Friday, Feb. 12 – Sunday, Feb. 14. Tickets start at $25 and the event is free for children age 10 and under.
