Arizona Spa Girls is a local business that was launched in 2002 by Lisa Kasanicky. The website and its team of passionate spa advocates provide an informative guide to Arizona’s best spas, salons, beauty and wellness making them the new voices for a new generation of spa-goers.

Talking-Stick-Spa-Relaxation-LadiesThe site offers exclusive spa and salon deals, product reviews, do-it-yourself home spa treatments and a fantastic collection of articles that cover all the important topics of health and beauty. It truly is the little pink book to looking and feeling your best.

Kasanicky says, “Previously, I had the perception that it was just for wealthy people with nothing better to do. Not so! It’s for us “normal” people who work hard and are plugged into too many devices.”

With a writing career that spans more than 20 years, Kasanicky really knows her stuff. For her great work at the “Spastress,” Kasanicky was named among the coolest people in the Valley by Phoenix Magazine in 2008. Kasanicky has developed spa and travel guides from the Arizona Office of Tourism, The Arizona Republic’s family of lifestyle publications and currently contributes to local and national publications.

Summer Spaaah Series

As if she didn’t have enough on her plate, Kasanicky is currently in midst of the annual Summer Spaaah Series Events. Founded in 2006, the award-winning events unite relaxation seekers with top Valley relaxation destinations.

Agave-Facial“We actually have eight events throughout the summer that range in cost from $75 to $130, says Kasanicky, “All events include a super chic tote bag courtesy of Drybar and filled with products from our generous sponsors. Event guests also receive a certificate to come back to the spa and have a true spa day with a select treatment of their choice.”

Now in the eighth season, the 2013 Summer Spaaah Series celebrates the fantastic vendors of Arizona Spa Girls with eight luxury events packed full of value for both the consumers and the local businesses all mixed in the spirit of charity and celebration. The Series also raises funds throughout the night for Fresh Start Women’s Foundation of Phoenix.
