Outlets At Anthem To Feature Tallest Fresh-Cut Christmas Tree

With every holiday season, people around the globe have the opportunity to experience the joys and wonder of each fantastical winter. Whether it is through delectable treats or grandiose Christmas decorations, winter always has something fun to offer.

This Christmas holiday is no exception at the Outlets at Anthem as the upscale shopping center is set to feature America’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree during its 11th annual Christmas Tree Lighting Spectacular. Hailing from Northern California, the tree has made its magical journey to the Arizona desert after passing through various cities in California, such as Mt. Shasta, Sacramento and Los Angeles. The special Christmas tree stands at approximately 110 feet high, making it an exciting new addition to the many marvels in Arizona.

America's Tallest Tree at Outlets at Anthem“The opportunity to showcase America’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree at the Outlets at Anthem this year is an incredible experience we’re greatly looking forward to,” said Outlets at Anthem Marketing Director Sallyann Martinez. “Our holiday festivities have long-been a favorite throughout Arizona, drawing visitors from around the state and attention from across the nation. We are proud to grow this to the next level and bring visitors additional elements, along with a few surprises still to be announced, this year.”

To prepare for its close-up at this year’s lighting ceremony, the tree will be decorated with a total of 180 strands of LED lights and more than 6,000 ornaments, causing the total weight of the tree to increase to more than 16 tons. Guests and shoppers are welcome to attend the tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 17 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., which will be accompanied by performances by Roshon Fegan and American Idol winner Phillip Phillips.

Come to the Outlets at Anthem for Christmas cheer, music and family fun.
