Diplo @ Maya Day and Nightclub

Even if you don’t know you know Diplo, you do. Whether it’s in the background of a Beyonce, Usher, Shakira, Snoop Dogg or even Brittany Spears and Biebs record, Diplo has left his mark on pop music. Over summer, he released “Random White Dude Be Everywhere” on his Mad Decent label, and we can’t help but agree…Even though he invades airwaves everywhere, there’s really nothing like seeing the LA DJ live. Throw your fists into the wind and enjoy!

Yellowcard & Memphis May Fire@ The Marquee

If someone was to make a “party foul,” such as knock over a beer or fall down stairs, they would be rewarded a yellow card. Yellowcard was named after this phrase used in high school and it stuck with them as they formed a band in Jacksonville, Florida. The pop punk/alternative rock band had their first hit single, “Ocean Avenue,” that quickly climbed to No.1. Yellowcard began to produce music for all outlets and started traveling , such as “Empty Apartment” featured on One Tree Hill, headlined for the 2004 Warped Tour, performed “Ocean Avenue” at the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards and taking home an MTV2 award, “Way Away” appeared on the SSX3 and Madden NFL 2004 soundtracks, and “Gifts and Curses” appeared in Spider Man 2. Don’t miss out on hearing all the hits live from Yellowcard’s nine albums, including “Lift a Sail” released this year.
