Ideation Design Group, an award-winning, Phoenix-based interior architecture and design firm, is close to completing its multimillion-dollar remodel of the food court at Arizona Mills in Tempe. The makeover of the 40,000 SF dining area is set to finish in March.
The IDG team started the project last spring. They are transforming the food court into an upscale, contemporary space that reflects the unique aesthetic of the geographic area, using local materials, recycled products and Arizona companies to execute their design vision.
“The redesigned space will offer shoppers a dining experience with soft seating and more of a restaurant feel,” explained IDG Principal, Jennifer Reynolds.
Ideation Design Group is transforming the Arizona Mills food court into an upscale, contemporary space that reflects the unique aesthetic of the geographic area, using local materials, recycled products and Arizona companies to execute their design vision. Upon completion, shoppers will be able to choose from 11 eateries. Design features include porcelain tile flooring with a whitewashed and black-washed wood plank feel, stacked stone and wood accents, as well as banquette seating, silk plants and custom lighting. Tinted skylights will soften the natural light from overhead, keeping the space cooler in the hot summer months and making it more energy efficient.
The dining area will feature 11 eateries, including Green Leaf’s, Bananas, South Philly Steaks & Fries, Far East, Sukotto Japanese Grill, Villa Italian Kitchen, Mo’ Burger and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The project is scheduled for completion in March.
