Landmark Title Assurance Agency recently opened its sixth office in the Valley and welcomed Shalene Belichesky as branch manager of its newest location. The new office is located in The Atrium at Arrowhead,17505 N. 79th Avenue, Suite 105 in Glendale.

Belichesky brings nearly two decades of experience to the Landmark Title team, previously working for national title firms in both California and Arizona. She has a deep understanding of escrow transactions ranging from traditional residential sales and new builds to commercial transactions and quick-close investor flips.

Yatin Dua named executive director of Westside Head Start

Yatin Dua has been named Executive Director of Catholic Charities Community Service’s Westside Head Start program, which provides comprehensive, early and continuous year-round childhood education.

Dua joined Westside Head Start in 2017 as Program Design and Management Administrator after two years as Budget Analyst with the Macon, Ga.-based Telemon Corporation’s Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Program that served more than 5,500 children in six states.

“Dua brings tremendous experience, expertise and deep-rooted knowledge of the importance and value of the Head Start program to the position,” said Carrie Mascaro, Vice President of Central Program Operations. “His business background adds an important perspective to the day-to-day operations of Head Start in his ability to identify trends, develop solutions and apply critical thinking.”

A native of India, Dua holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honors from the University of Delhi and he completed a post-graduate Integrated Professional Competence Course at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Dr. Luis N. Pacheco MD, FAAFP joins Plexus Worldwide

AAWL welcomes new chief development officer

Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL), Arizona’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter, announced the appointment of Melissa Steimer as Chief Development Officer. 

Now operating in the role, Steimer brings over 23 years of experience in the nonprofit fundraising world, most recently as Chief Development Officer for UMOM New Day Centers. Steimer also has extensive animal welfare knowledge having worked locally at the Nebraska Humane Society and nationally at PetSmart Charities and Best Friends Animal Society.

Steimer holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a member, and currently sits on the Board, of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
