The ultimate baseball fan experience, Baseball City returns to Arizona spring training Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.   Food Truck Caravan will be on-site both days with an exciting lineup of food trucks to give fans a taste of some of the best gourmet street food in the Valley!

For first time ever the premier FanFest will be housed in the heart of Scottsdale’s Civic Center just minutes from the spring training homes of the San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies among others.

This free event serves as the symbolic kick-off to Arizona Spring Training and building the anticipation for the season ahead. Baseball City offers something for every baseball fan, including numerous activities and interactive elements to ensure a hands-on baseball experience.

In addition, the Food Truck Caravan will be on-site both days.  The lineup of Valley trucks includes: Aioli Gourmet Burgers, Roadriggers, The Maine Lobster Lady, Circle R Ranch United Steaks of Cheese, Franks, Superfarm Supertruck, Saffron JAK Original Stoneground Pizza and Chocolade Von Bruge.

Check out the home run derby field surrounded by a number of interactive games like speed pitch, professional batting cages, steal home challenge and lil’ sluggers. Players who participated in 2014 included Hall of Famers Andre Dawson, Orlando Cepeda, Ferguson Jenkins and Gaylord Perry, former All-Stars Steve Garvey, Edgar Martinez, and Don Baylor, and current stars such as Pablo Sandoval, Aaron Hill, Martin Prado, Billy Butler, and Salvador Perez.

Baseball City is also proud to announce its partnership with the Arizona SciTech Festival.From weighted bats to curveballs, the Science of Baseball presented by Arizona SciTech Festival brings unique partnerships with Arizona State University, the University of Arizona and Midwestern Scientists to engage the public in hands on opportunities with the science behind sports.
