Aftermath Bar & Kitchen, the modern American concept from Arizona restaurateur Charles Barber Jr., has announced plans to open a new location in Downtown Gilbert. Set to debut in January 2026 at 366 N. Gilbert Road (the former “The Bar” space), the new restaurant will bring Aftermath’s signature mix of scratch-made dishes, bold cocktails, and high-energy atmosphere to the heart of Gilbert. Guests can look forward to their award-winning menu, lively weekend brunch, and late-night cocktails in a lounge-style setting.

“We’ve always wanted to be in Gilbert, and after 10 years the timing is finally right,” says Charles Barber Jr., owner of Aftermath Bar & Kitchen. “ This spot will bring the same heart and quality people know us for, but with a unique vibe that reflects Downtown Gilbert.”
