VR Xtreme is a haven for all gamers, sports enthusiasts, adrenaline junkies, and fans of virtual reality. But even novices can find a game or experience that piques their curiosity and entices their senses. From competitive to bold to extreme thrills, VR Xteme appeals to the daredevil and to the pint-sized thrill-seeker. This incredible hub of non-stop action offers everything from competitive socializing, fine-tuning driving skills, marksmanship, and even a breath-taking roller-coaster ride off the top of a skyscraper. VR Xtreme features popular games and experiences such as Project Cars 2 (the world’s most beautiful, authentic, and technically advanced racing game) and Raw Data (the # 1 VR shooting game with viewing screens for spectators). VR Xtreme transports visitors to another reality where they can play and socialize with friends, family and coworkers in a variety of different settings.
The 24 total gaming stations are broken down into many different styles. Kids will enjoy the explorer stations that allow guests to get a feel for the virtual reality experience by completing simple tasks in the virtual world, thrill-seekers can get behind the wheel of driving simulators with real racing seats and steering wheels, and the turret cannons will allow older guests to gear up for high action shooter games. There are also seated pods that offer fully immersive cinematic experiences and a multi-player arena where up to four guests can team up to defeat enemies in an action-packed futuristic techno-thriller game.
Prices vary depending on a guest’s appetite for gaming and virtual reality. Visitors can dabble with a few VR experiences or they can purchase unlimited-use tickets for 30 – 60 minutes to try their hand at multiple experiences. VR Xtreme tickets can be purchased online at VRXtremeAZ.com or at the entrance. VR Xtreme is located on the lower level of Arizona Boardwalk, which is part of the Talking Stick Entertainment District in Scottsdale. VR Xtreme will operate 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily in March, with the most up to date hours always posted on the website.
