The editor of Bite Magazine has unveiled her favorite Arizona-made products for the Winter edition of the online publication’s Bite Box. The collection of artisan products is just in time for the holiday season. Each quarter, Bite Magazine asks a notable local to fill a Bite Box with 8-10 of their favorite Arizona-made products. Editor Michelle Jacoby reserved the final box for 2017 to showcase her selections.
“Arizona is on the forefront of the growing interest in hand-crafted products” said Michelle Jacoby, publisher and editor-in-chief of Bite Magazine. “The Bite Box is a way for our makers to share their amazing local products with us and our readers.”
Items in the Bite Box aren’t just mini-sized teases. Instead they’re everything from hearty loaves of bread and big bottles of barbecue sauce, to T-shirts, tote bags and home décor items—everything designed for you and your friends to enjoy the best Arizona has to offer. The Editor’s Picks edition includes:
• Go Lb. Salt Sel Gris
• Go Lb. Salt Bamboo Salt Cellar
• Provision Coffee Guji (Ethiopia)
• Iron Root Salad Tongs
• Popped Artisan Popcorn Classic Kettle Corn
• Verano Bathery Blueberry Lemon Soap
• Homeboys Hot Sauce Jalapeño Sauce
• Noble Bread Country Loaf
Jacoby says her selections she thinks make the holidays extra special and celebrate Arizona’s growing artisan craft movement.
“Our local makers work so hard to create these truly unique items that reflect our state in so many ways,” Jacoby said. “The Iron Root salad tongs, for example, are each hand burned with desert landscape imagery.”
The Bite Box is $65 (plus tax) and will be on sale through Friday, December 1. Boxes will be available for pick up at the Barnone Holiday Market on Friday, December 15. Local delivery is available for an additional $7.
