The health system will occupy 67,000 square feet at Bond Phoenix, compared to the more than 304,000 square feet currently secured at Phoenix Plaza. The move reflects Banner Health’s ongoing commitment to financial stewardship by reducing administrative costs to better focus resources on its health care mission.

“By aligning our physical footprint with our hybrid work model, we are enhancing the workplace experience while maintaining our long-standing commitment to Phoenix,” said Staci Dickerson, Banner Health chief financial officer. “This decision demonstrates our commitment to being good stewards of our resources.”

Banner Health moved into Phoenix Plaza in 2015 when the location accommodated more than 1,000 team members working in-person full time. Moving to a flexible work strategy, the team members who come into the office daily significantly dropped. The new headquarters at Bond Phoenix will feature high-quality amenities, enhanced safety features and spaces designed to foster stronger team connection and collaboration.

Relocation will be completed in a phased approach to minimize disruption for Banner Health team members.
