Mesa-based Blandford Homes was the winning bidder in a Flood Control District of Maricopa County land auction for 12.6-acres, according to Cushman & Wakefield.
The master-planned community firm won the auction for the land with a bid of $1.76 million. The land purchase is located on the northeast corner of Loop 202 and McDowell Road in Mesa. Blandford Homes plans to build single-story homes between 1,700 and 2,100 square feet. Home prices are still to be determined.
Brian Rosella and Will French of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer during the land auction.
“With seven registered bidders and more than 150 bids placed, we were thrilled to get Blandford Homes from the opening number to the final to fulfill their vision in continued success in the East Valley,” Rosella said.
