The first lease was signed at Mesa Fiesta Center located at Alma School Road and the U.S. 60 in Mesa. A 25,000 s.f., ten year lease was finalized with the Feed My Starving Children organization. The charity feeds 1,000,000 starving children around the world each year in 70 countries. In 2014, they had over 900,000 volunteers and they expect that number to increase in 2015. 100,000 volunteers are expected to serve this year at the Mesa Fiesta Center. Mesa City Officials said this organization is a proud addition to the City of Mesa. The Landlord in the transaction was HV & Canal who was represented by Cashen Realty Advisors.
The second lease was with Pima Medical Institute who leased 38,000 s.f. for a term of ten years at 13610 N. Black Canyon Highway within the Metro North Corporate Park development. Pima has been in business for over 40 years and will operate a Medical Assistant and Nursing Program with Certificate, Associate and Bachelors level programs. Pima will also offer an Advanced Veterinarian Assistant’s Program in a one-of-a-kind facility within the Metro North Property. Pima will begin offering classes at this location in September, 2015. The Landlord in this transaction was C.M.B. III, L.L.C. who was represented by Cashen Realty Advisors.
