Resmark Apartment Living, a division of The Resmark Companies, Westfield Company and Greystar recently celebrated the official grand opening of 56 North, a new luxury apartment community, in Phoenix. An opening reception was recently held to unveil the new community and raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The 344-unit apartment community is located in the desirable Desert Ridge area, just north of the Loop 101, at 21021 North 56th Street.
“The grand opening event offered guests an opportunity to tour a variety of unique amenity spaces and preview the distinct mid-century modern-inspired design that is incorporated throughout the property,” said Ziv Cohen, President of Resmark Apartment Living. “With 56 North, Resmark provided equity investment capital for the new community.”
Over 200 guests attended the grand opening and enjoyed live music by Urban Electric and specialty foods and refreshments provided by local restaurateurs Bourbon Jacks and Modern Margarita. A silent auction and raffle prizes combined with a charitable donation from 56 North raised more than $6000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
“We are proud to have the opportunity to help raise funds and increase awareness of blood cancer,” said Heather Jones, Regional Property Manager for Greystar. “The grand opening of 56 North brought together our residents, local community and area businesses for a good cause.”
Developed by Greystar, 56 North offers one and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 677 to 1,163 square feet of living space. Higher quality interior appointments include three distinct wood color schemes for cabinets and floors, quartz countertops with clean white tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, faux wood blinds, and high capacity washers and dryers. Floor plans incorporate features such as nine-foot ceilings, spacious walk-in closets, and private balconies or terraces. Select units include kitchen islands, oversized walk-in closets, and two levels of living space.
56 North also offers an innovative take on traditional community amenities. Social spaces reminiscent of a boutique hotel include a dramatic lobby lounge, cocktail and dining bar, and martini nook. Outside, the pool courtyard includes modern water features, a turf sunning deck, a “glass house” cabana, and open-air lounges with such resort-inspired classics as fire pits, ping pong and foosball tables, shuffleboard and barbecue grills. A second-floor fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment overlooks the pool scene. Additional amenities include an executive conference center, fenced dog park, covered parking and single attached garages with controlled access. Always-on Wi-Fi and numerous high-definition televisions round out 56 North’s must-have amenity package.
