Phoenix Commercial Advisors facilitated the sale of Sonoran Creek Marketplace, a Sprouts Farmer Market grocery-anchored shopping center. The property, located on 10.2 acres on the southwest corner of John Wayne Parkway and Edison Road in Maricopa, Ariz., sold for $34,000,000 or $461 per square foot in an off-market transaction.

The 73,692-square-foot center was 100 percent leased with a mix of internet-resistant tenants, including Sprouts Farmers Market, Jimmy John’s, Supercuts, Marshalls, The Joint Chiropractic and more. Cameron Warren, Nick DeDona, Dan Gardiner and Greg Laing at Phoenix Commercial Advisors leased the property. Danny Gardiner and Chad Tiedeman at Phoenix Commercial Advisors represented the Seller, Thompson Thrift Retail Group, in the transaction.

“This is a first-class shopping center at the regional retail intersection in Maricopa, top quality construction and best in class tenant mix,” Gardiner said. “Maricopa is one of the fastest growing cities in Arizona, which sets the property up to support an ever-growing customer base for the tenants at this center and the intersection as a whole. It was a great project to be involved in, and we always enjoy working with the Thompson Thrift team.”
