Valley Partnership‘s 2015-16 Advocates class has graduated.

This year’s Valley Partnership Advocates curriculum offered participants a robust exposure to all aspects of the lifecycle of development. Some of this year’s program highlights include:

  • A helicopter tour of some of the Valley’s current development projects sponsored by SRP
  • An invite only Valley Partnership breakfast event with Gov. Doug Ducey
  • A deep dive on the “where, why and what” of infill development with DWG Phoenix, Venue Projects and Deco Communities
  • A comprehensive examination of project financing with FirstBank and Alliance Residential

In addition, the Advocates were afforded exclusive opportunities to network directly with Valley Partnership’s Board of Directors. 

Todd Chester, principal with WDP Partners and Valley Partnership board member, was this year’s Advocates board liaison and spearheaded the development of the 2015-16 program offering. 

“Now in our third year, the Valley Partnership Advocates program has really hit its stride,” said Chester. “This year’s curriculum was the most vigorous in the program’s history. Our Advocates were given access to some of the best minds in our industry, and really took seriously this opportunity to learn from these experts. I am really proud of what the group accomplished this year.”

The Advocates class of 2015-16 was honored at Valley Partnership’s June Friday Morning Breakfast (FMB) event. The FMB series features a monthly panel discussion and presentations from key leaders, experts and policy makers affecting metropolitan Phoenix’s development and commercial real estate industries

Valley Partnership will open up applications for the 2016-17 Advocates class in August.
