Most recreational golfers have watched the pros on TV and wondered, what would it be like to play one of those perfectly manicured, and often diabolical courses.
Fortunately, many of those same courses are open to the public. Priceline.com has recommended 10 pro-caliber courses where golfers can get a jump on the season, and Arizona’s Troon North made the online travel agency’s “cut”.
“Spring is an ideal time for a Arizona golf getaway,” said Travel Analyst Brian Ek. “The weather is great, not too hot, and the courses are in excellent condition. We chose Troon North for our list because we agree that it fills the bill for golfers looking for that ‘classic’ desert golf experience.”
