The Sun City community will soon see nearly 146 new residences and a new long-term care center (assisted living) when Royal Oaks builds a new neighborhood on land adjacent to the existing campus. Royal Oaks is the only Lifeplan (CCRC) community in the area.
Earlier this month, Royal Oaks Chief Executive Officer Kendra Eberhart announced the first phase of the 20-year master plan that begins with the addition of 16 villa homes and 130 apartments over the next seven years. Pre-sales for the new residences will begin this summer. A rough schematic of the project can be viewed at www.royaloaks.com/blog-detail/401688450/royal-oaks-announces-major-expansion.
The villa homes will average 1,644 square feet and the apartments will range from 850 to 1650 square feet of floor space. Underground parking, new dining and social venues, warehouse space and a 60-suite care center for Complete Supportive Living (assisted living) are also part of Phase 1.
“We know we must expand the Royal Oaks campus to keep up with the demand for upscale senior housing, as well as, continually updating our existing buildings and neighborhoods to appeal to people who will be searching for resort-style senior living,” said Eberhart. “We are excited to share our plans with the public.”
If you would like to participate in an upcoming group session to learn more about the expansion, contact Vicki Ullery at 623-815-4131 and ask to be added to the interest list. You can also send an email to marketing@royaloaks.com. Personalized tours of the existing campus may also be scheduled.
